(Our next Parent & Youth Relationship Building Night has not been scheduled yet. The past couple have been well attended and have been really fruitful. We appreciate all the parents that have been a part of them.)
Parents are an important part of student ministry. In a way they’re kinda like job security. As far as I can tell, if it wasn’t for parents I wouldn’t have any youth to minister to. I think that may be where babies even come from, but don’t quote me on that. Heidi and I want to help all of you parents as much as possible. We are in no way attempting to take your place as parents. We want to reinforce the Godly principles you are teaching at home and how the youth are to “honor their father and mother” (Deut. 5:16). We desire to equip you through youth and parent relationship building times and parenting meetings. Below are some resources we hope are a help to you. Prayers are going out for you as you “train up a child in the way he should go” (Prov. 22:6). For His glory, Jason & Heidi
